Barbecue teams from across North Carolina compete in the annual 4-H Youth Livestock Barbecue Cook-off.  Cash prizes and trophies are given to the first, second, and third place winners in the categories of Culinary and Showmanship.

 

4-H Youth Livestock then sell barbecue sandwiches and barbecue plates to festival attendees.
