In the fall of 2016, our new Miss Ham & Yam queens were crowned. Titles went to: Baby Miss Aubrey Edwards, Mini Miss Taylor Jones, Mini Majestic Karson Mclamb, Little Miss Anna Olive, Junior Miss Raegen Sutton, Teen Miss Maygon Johnson, and Community Service Miss Lexi Liggins! These young ladies will represent the Ham & Yam Festival throughout the next year. During their year of service, they will raise money for the Me Fine Foundation, whose mission is to voluntarily provide necessary resources and financial assistance to parents and caregivers with children being treated at Duke and UNC Children's Hospitals regardless of race, diagnosis, economic status, or religion, in memory of Folden Lee, IV. Over the past ten years, the Miss Ham & Yam Festival Pageant contestants have raised more than $26,000! Be sure to stop by these ladies' booth at the festival for refreshments and homemade goodies to support their charitable work!
